Connect the Dots/ No Rocket Scientest needed

1. "'President Obama said this week that his health care plan won't cover illegal immigrants, but argued that's all the more reason to legalize them and ensure they eventually do get coverage." http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/sep/18/obama-ties-immigration-to-health-care-battle/?feat=home_cube_position1

2. "we seem to still rely on the creativity and competence of politicians to solve problems, which always somehow seem to be tied in with which lobby is the strongest in Washington." http://www.campaignforliberty.com/article.php?view=218

3. Who is lobbying for amnesty? Large corporations who want the cheap labor subsidised by the American taxpayer. http://www.numbersusa.org/ (At that link you will find that the Chamber is one of the biggest lobbyists for Amnesty...you will find out about many other interesting things as well)

Illegals and H1 B visa workers (outsourced workers too) are doing the work Americans once did for as much as one half to one third of the wage once paid. Once amnesty is achieved do you really think illegal immigration will suddenly stop? Now that we have several hundred applying for the same job, many legal American workers are complaining that their wages are much lower, and they are not paid overtime anymore ("bosses saying you should have finished in eight hours"). Fear of loosing their job makes them think twice before complaining. We are being whipped into submission as we are considered too "arrogant". One can read more about this at the following link (article by Chuck Baldwin on the goals for the North American Union/ NAFTA): http://www.campaignforliberty.com/article.php?view=220

You will likely find this article very interesting too: "Fiorina's statement that "there is no job that is America's God-given right anymore" triggered particularly strong reaction. The pair spoke in Washington representing the Computer Systems Policy Project, a group of eight chief executives from the nation's top information technology firms. http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/c/a/2004/01/09/MNG6C46T0M1.DTL

Good Globalization and Lies

The heroic Iranians are using Twitter and Face Book to communicate and to organize. Now that is true Globalization. That is a natural result of the communication age.

However it is a lie when we are told illegal immigration, outsourcing, so called Free Trade, and H1 B Visas are a natural result of the communication age. They are an exploitation of the working classes all over the world: cheap labor.

We are being sold a bundle of propaganda (false ideas) when we are told
  • "Americans won't do the work",
  • "In this economy one must have a college education to get a job (what about teacher layoffs, and college educated who are flipping hamburgers),
  • "The factories will not return", (being dependant of other Countries for basic needs is suicide)
  • "Government can solve the problem" (heck they created it)
  • "We need Comprehensive Amnesty" (Read this independent study; http://www.cis.org/articles/2004/fiscalexec.html )
  • "We don't need those jobs" (What an ego.)
  • Our leaders are "World Leaders" (What an ego..They can't run the U.S. effectively let alone the world. )

Letter to our President

Roma writes: I must disagree in part with this letter.

1. I personally think Obama and Michelle have done an excellent job with foreign affairs. I have not seen anyone this good since President and Jaquelin Kennedy. Could Obama have made a few blunders in this area...sure. But he is a heck of allot better than Bush, who challenged and offended just about everyone. The only person that does not make a mistake is the guy who does nothing.

He also handled the recent pirate situation exceptionally well, demonstrating he walks softly but carries a big stick. One might recall how long it took Bush to respond to events like Katrina.

2. On the economic issues is where I strongly disagree with Obama. I also do not like his broken promises about no Lobbyists in his administration, "buy American", foreign trade and outsourcing. The increased debt to China is also very troubling

We knew his and McCain's misguided stance on amnesty, and on the bail Out before the election, and that is exactly why I voted independent this year for the time. I am glad I did.

3. . My research tells me that our Founding Fathers where Christian, and had come from a very intolerant Christian society. So they tried not to impose their set of Christian beliefs on others.

However, they did clearly state a belief in God in many places....even the dollar bill.

Before World War II many Americans were not very tolerant of the Jewish, Claiming they had killed Jesus. Hitler showed us what that sort of intolerance is capable of becoming. So we opened our hearts to the Jewish community, and began calling ourselves Judeo- Christian. If we do not learn from our past , we are doomed to repeat them.

Mary W sent this in :

My reasons for passing this along is not to offend any of you - I know some of you are Democrats and supported Obama during the election - but in fact, to present another illustration of the need to DEFEND this country against the actions that this president has taken. Surely, none of us can accept that fact, without criticism, that our grandchildren are very likely to spend their entire lives in debt - or something worse.

There was another man that wooed and wowed his people, to the point that it cost millions of them their lives. Ladies and gentlemen, unless something happens, we are on that same road - and quite frankly, it is scary. I'm old enough that I don't worry about myself, but I sure have some frightening thoughts about my son, my grandchildren, their children and all of the next couple of generations to come.

So, I pass this along in hopes that it will serve as an alert, in case you haven't come to grips with what is going on. Your future is as much at stake as everyone else's - are you excited about it?

Jack

This came to me via an e-mail "forward it on" campaign. Even if you don't forward it to anyone else it will make you feel like you're not crazy anymore, and that other people feel much like you do. April 17, 2009 The White House 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW Washington , DC 20500 Mr. Obama: I have had it with you and your administration, sir. Your conduct on your recent trip overseas has convinced me that you are not an adequate representative of the United States of America collectively or of me personally. You are so obsessed with appeasing the Europeans and the Muslim world that you have abdicated the responsibilities of the President of the United States of America . You are responsible to the citizens of the United States . You are not responsible to the peoples of any other country on earth.I personally resent that you go around the world apologizing for the United States telling Europeans that we are arrogant and do not care about their status in the world. Sir, what do you think the First WorldWar and the Second World War were all about if not the consideration of the peoples of Europe ? Are you brain dead? What do you think the Marshall Plan was all about? Do you not understand or know the history of the 20th century?Where do you get off telling a Muslim country that the United States does not consider itself a Christian country? Have you not read the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution of the United States ?This country was founded on Judeo-Christian ethics and the principles governing this country, at least until you came along, come directly from this heritage. Do you not understand this?Your bowing to the king of Saudi Arabia is an affront to all Americans. Our President does not bow down to anyone, let alone the king of Saudi Arabia . You don't show Great Britain , our best and one of our oldest allies, the respect they deserve yet you bow down to the king of Saudi Arabia . How dare you, sir! How dare you!You can't find the time to visit the graves of our greatest generation because you don't want to offend the Germans but make time to visit a mosque in Turkey . You offended our dead and every veteran when yougive the Germans more respect than the people who saved the German people from themselves. What's the matter with you?I am convinced that you and the members of your administration have the historical and intellectual depth of a mud puddle and should be ashamed of yourselves, all of you.You are so self-righteously offended by the big bankers and the American automobile manufacturers yet do nothing about the real thieves in this situation, Mr. Dodd, Mr. Frank, Franklin Raines, Jamie Gorelic, the Fannie Mae bonuses, and the Freddie Mac bonuses. What do you intend to do about them? Anything? I seriously doubt it.What about the U.S. House members passing out $9.1 million in bonuses to their staff members - on top of the $2.5 million in automatic pay raises that lawmakers gave themselves? I understand the average House aide got a 17% bonus. I took a 5% cut in my pay to save jobs with my employer. You haven't said anything about that. Who authorized that? I surely didn't!Executives at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will be receiving $210 million in bonuses over an eighteen-month period, that's $45 million more than the AIG bonuses. In fact, Fannie and Freddie executives have alreadybeen awarded $51 million - not a bad take. Who authorized that and why haven't you expressed your outrage at this group who are largely responsible for the economic mess we have right now. I resent that you take me and my fellow citizens as brain-dead and not caring about what you idiots do. We are watching what you are doing and we are getting increasingly fed up with all of you. I also want you to know that I personally find just about everything you do and say to be offensive to every one of my sensibilities. I promise you that I will work tirelessly to see that you do not get a chance to spend two terms destroying my beautiful country. Sincerely, Every Real American P.S. I rarely ask that emails be 'passed around'.. PLEASE SEND THIS TO YOUR EMAIL LIST......it's way pasttime for all Americans to wake up!

Outsourcing Taking High Tec. Jobs

(Note: IBM is receiving stimulus money inspite of the following actions)

  • Recent announcements of mass layoffs have created new scrutiny around the H-1B visa program, which brings foreign tech workers (mostly from India) to the US for work (at below-market wages, critics say). But IBM (IBM) is going with a novel tack: Instead of bringing cheap Indian workers to America, the company is demanding its American workers move to cheap India and get paid India-standard wages.
  • A better option than being laid off? IBM has been quietly eliminating thousands of jobs over the past few weeks.
  • anyone who refuses to move will be considered a "voluntary departure" and denied severance benefits.
  • Know more about IBM's layoffs or relocation plans? Email ekrangel@alleyinsider.com, anonymity guaranteed.
InformationWeek gets their hands on leaked IBM documents explaining the program:
