Constitution" Tenth Amendment"

The Tenth Amendment to the Constitution states:
"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people."

The Tenth Amendment effectively cast the Constitution as a "Default Deny" policy against a large and oppressive government. Default Deny is a term used in computer networking to describe a set of firewall rules that deny all network communication from anywhere and to anywhere unless it’s specifically allowed by an administrator. Similarly, the Tenth Amendment clearly disallows the government from exercising or granting itself powers not specifically granted to it by the Constitution itself. Those powers instead lie with the state governments and individuals.

The founders believed in distributed government. They expressed the idea that wherever possible, problems and disputes should be addressed locally. If a family had a dispute, the family should resolve it. If a town had a local issue that needed to be addressed, it should be addressed locally, and so on from the county to the state and finally to the federal level. Those most familiar with the ideals, values, morals and habits of the locality and people who are affected by the problem should be the ones to fix it. A bureaucrat in Washington, DC is ill-equipped to rule effectively on issues affecting Forks, WA. A problem should only be elevated to the next level if a conflict arises between two or more families, towns or states. This is bottom-up government. This is a form of government that empowers individuals as much as any form of government ever has. This is the most effective way to manage a geographically and demographically diverse country while maintaining universal freedom and property rights.

Dear Friend of Liberty,

Every day we hear more bad news about the future of our country. Clearly, our abandonment of Constitutional principles has wreaked havoc on our once prosperous land.I’m sure you’ll agree that the blame can be placed on both the major parties, whose alternating rule has dragged our country to the very brink of collapse.If you have worked hard and been cautious with money you are now paying for the outrageous acts of irresponsibility and greed of others.
And this level of national upheaval could simply not have taken place without the insidious involvement of government.

The Constitution Party is working to combat the absurd efforts of both parties to blame free enterprise for the mess that government intervention has created, and we need your financial support for this effort.

Both major parties promoted unsustainable, deficit spending and the massive expansion of debt. Both parties worked to destroy real money and the principles of thrift and savings.Both parties encouraged people to live beyond their means, while simultaneously throwing taxpayer money away on scheme after unconstitutional scheme.

It was a simple and horribly destructive plan. Money for votes or kickbacks and someone else gets the bill. Well, the bill has just arrived in your mailbox.As the Obama administration continues the failed financial policies of the Bush administration, we see our banks failing, our auto industry about to evaporate and the very real specter of nationalization of much of our economy.

It is tragic that in order to expose the duplicity of both ruling parties, we have to be on the verge of economic collapse, but for better or worse, there has never been a more critical time to expose them. I pray I can count on your continued support in the amount of $100, $75, or more to let the American people know there is a better way.

I need your help to bring a cohesive message of economic renewal to the America people. A message that promotes sane monetary policies, and a reversal of the ever-growing intrusion of big brother government.

All across the country Americans are making their voices heard, and they are saying they support life, liberty and limited government. The numerous TEA Parties held on April 15th demonstrated this undeniable fact.The troubled times we face today need not be the end of the American Dream. Instead, with your help they can be the moments just before a new dawn of American greatness and prosperity.

But we must act quickly. Our nation’s needs are great, and as we have seen over and over, they will not be met by the greed, collusion and duplicity of the Democrat/Republican axis.

Globalization Or Individual Liberty?

Supporters of the "One World Order" (Globalization) are not conspirators. They sincerely believe that we now could face world collapse if we do not have one governing body for the whole world. They argue that we can no longer afford the luxury of individuals and countries doing only what is best for themselves ("protectionism"). They argue we could solve nuclear war threats, world hunger, world pollution, global warming, among other things if we all adhere to one power governing all. Their ideas are sometimes self serving, but more often benevolent.

Constitutionalists and Libertarians argue that the proof is in the podding. the U.S. Founding Fathers studied the most successful governments in history to create the Constitution, and created the most successful form of government the world has ever seen. They further point out that history shows that "Power corrupts, and absolute Power corrupts absolutely".

The more power that is concentrated in the hands of the few, the more corrupt that power becomes. Many use the Chinese Government, Communist Russia, the Federal Reserve, global businesses, and global banks as a perfect example of such corruption resulting from control being placed in the hands of the few.

The last "Harry Potter" book was a very good argument in favor of individual rights when it showed how "one fits all" rules stifle individual creativity . Communist Russia was a living example of the same...showing how it actually creates poverty.

The debate continues as the United States now faces a cross roads as to which direction it will go. I would be very curious to hear your thoughts on this ongoing debate. I guess you know my stance on the subject since I attended the "Tea Party", but I encourage honest debate. Debate with ideas and free of insults is respectful communication.
